Why I Built OpenFirst - An Inheritance Plan My Family Can Actually Open

I wrote a private, offline inheritance plan in plain text files. It was secure, it was durable, and nobody enjoyed using it — including me. This is the story of how that folder of files became OpenFirst, and what building a product for exactly one user taught me about building for everyone.
